CANNIBAL CORPSE In Austin: Interview, Pro-Shot Performance Footage Available

Roxwel has uploaded a recent interview with drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz of Florida death metal veterans CANNIBAL CORPSE conducted when the band played in Austin, Texas. Also available is professionally filmed performance footage from the Austin concert.

CANNIBAL CORPSE filmed two shows in early May for an upcoming DVD release. The concerts were shot and directed by Denise Korycki (Wild Wind Productions),who also helmed the band's "Centuries Of Torment - The First 20 Years" DVD.

"Centuries of Torment", which came out July 2008, was certified platinum in Canada last year just before the crushing release of the band's new album, "Evisceration Plague". The DVD sold 2,100 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 8 on the Top Music Videos chart.

CANNIBAL CORPSE took part in the band's first headline run this past spring since it appeared on the Hot Topic stage on 2009's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. Joining CANNIBAL CORPSE on "The Evisceration Plague Tour" were SKELETONWITCH, LECHEROUS NOCTURNE and 1349 on select dates.
